Timbuktoo – A.K.A Timmy!

Timmy is the male half of twins that Krista adopted from a former boyfriend.  He is our gentle giant!  He weighs between 17 and 18 lbs. and is a real wuss at times (which is why he is not the dominant male).  He loves to be held and is of the opinion that he is a very small lap or neck cat.  He does like to sleep across your neck at night and that can make for some harrowing evenings as he has, at times, somewhat interfered  with my breathing.

He is in love with Bella (another one of our rescues) and tries to lay down near her on the bed, carpet  etc……the problem being that Bella weighs 9 lbs. and he has a tendency to crush her!  As you can imagine that can and does start some arguements!  He is a big grey tabby with very large feet!  He prefers shredded cat food to the ground variety because he likes to eat with his claws!  He will snag a shred with one claw and bring it up to his mouth and then eat it!  No bending over and eating with his mouth in the food!   He also has the habit of using his paw to pull the water out of the water bowl and onto to floor.  I have yet to figure out why as it doesn’t seem to matter if the water has just been put in, is ice-cold, is warm from the sun, or anything….I think he just likes to get his feet wet …and mine too!
